Requires the Department of Corrections to provide each inmate in a correctional facility the opportunity to place a security freeze on their consumer report.

Mandates the department provide appropriate forms to inmates upon request to initiate the security freeze process.

Specifies that all fees and expenses incurred in applying for a security freeze must be paid by the inmate.

Effective date is July 1, 2012.
