Authorizes school districts to administer student achievement tests in a student's native language if the student is severely limited in English proficiency.

Requires results from the Comprehensive English Language Learning Assessment or similar assessment to determine if a student qualifies for native language testing.

Adds new subsection (4) to Florida Statute 1003.56 governing English language instruction for limited English proficient students.

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
