Prohibits employees of state agencies with investigatory or regulatory functions from working for individuals or organizations that are subjects of civil or criminal investigations by that agency during the investigation or for 2 years after conclusion.

Applies to employees of the Attorney General's Office, Department of Financial Services, Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Office of Insurance Regulation, Agency for Health Care Administration, Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Public Service Commission, Department of Law Enforcement, Florida Highway Patrol, and other state agencies with investigatory powers.

Defines "employee" as only those individuals whose job duties include regulatory or investigatory functions, excluding employees with solely secretarial or non-regulatory administrative duties.

Effective July 1, 2012.
