Beginning with the 2012-2013 school year, school grades shall include the participation rate of students enrolled in fine arts courses (visual arts, music, dance, and theatre) for schools comprised of any grades kindergarten through 12.

Fine arts participation rates are added as a new factor in the school grading system under section 1008.34, Florida Statutes.

Corrects terminology by changing "hospital-designated" and "hospital- or homebound" to "who are hospitalized" and "hospital/homebound" respectively in student assessment data provisions.

Effective date is July 1, 2012.
