Exempts identifying information of donors and prospective donors to the direct-support organization of the Florida Historic Capitol and Legislative Research Center and Museum from public records disclosure if they wish to remain anonymous.

Requires anonymity to be maintained in annual financial audit reports created pursuant to subsection (5).

Subjects the exemption to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and repeals it on October 2, 2017, unless the Legislature reenacts it.

Establishes public necessity findings that protecting donor anonymity is needed to encourage private fundraising for the Historic Capitol and Museum by preventing identity theft concerns and security risks.

Effective date: July 1, 2012.
