Requires physicians who perform liposuction procedures removing more than 1,000 cubic centimeters of fat to register their office with the Department of Health unless licensed as a facility under chapter 395.

Requires physicians who perform level 2 procedures lasting more than 5 minutes and all level 3 surgical procedures in office settings to register the office with the department unless it is a licensed facility.

Mandates annual inspections of registered physician offices by the department, except for offices accredited by nationally recognized accrediting agencies or organizations approved by the Board of Medicine or Board of Osteopathic Medicine.

Requires physicians and osteopathic physicians to pay all actual costs associated with office registration, inspection, and accreditation.

Takes effect January 3, 2013.
