Creates section 551.303 of Florida Statutes to establish public records exemptions for the Department of Gaming Control regarding trade secrets, proprietary confidential business information, and investigation techniques.

Exempts trade secrets and proprietary confidential business information (including business plans and audit reports) from public disclosure until the information becomes publicly available or is no longer treated as confidential by the applicant or licensee.

Exempts federal employer identification numbers, unemployment compensation account numbers, and Florida sales tax registration numbers held by the Department of Gaming Control from public records requirements.

Protects investigation techniques and procedures used by the Department of Gaming Control from disclosure, while allowing such information to be shared with other governmental entities having oversight, regulatory, or law enforcement authority.

Establishes a second-degree misdemeanor penalty for Department of Gaming Control employees who violate the confidentiality provisions and subjects the exemption to repeal on October 2, 2017, unless reenacted by the Legislature.
