Creates the Autism Spectrum Disorder Study Committee to study autism spectrum disorder effects on families where English is the second language.

Committee comprises 10 members appointed by the Governor (4), President of the Senate (3), and Speaker of the House (3), including required representation from physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, behavior analysts, the State Surgeon General, parents of children with autism, special education educators, UM-NSU CARD doctors, and individuals with autism spectrum disorder.

Committee members receive no compensation, but the State Surgeon General may authorize funds for publishing recommendations and public announcements.

Committee must meet at least six times bimonthly beginning August 2012, with the final meeting by August 30, 2013, and issue a report to the Governor and Legislature by September 1, 2013 containing findings and recommendations for community awareness campaigns.

Committee expires September 1, 2013.
