• Waives initial licensing, application, and unlicensed activity fees for military veterans who apply within 24 months of honorable discharge from the U.S. Armed Forces.

• Reduces continuing education requirements for license reactivation across multiple professions (real estate, architecture, cosmetology, electrical contracting, etc.) to no more than one renewal cycle instead of hour-for-hour requirements for inactive periods.

• Allows real estate schools to offer courses through distance learning as an alternative to classroom instruction for instructor permit renewal, subject to compliance with specified requirements.

• Revises appraisal standards to allow the Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board to adopt professional practice standards by rule instead of requiring strict compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.
