Authorizes each district school system to establish a policy allowing district employees to donate accrued sick leave to other district employees.

Requires that district employees may authorize their spouse, child, parent, or sibling who is also a district employee to use their accrued sick leave.

Mandates that any sick leave donation policy require the recipient to provide physician documentation of illness, accident, or injury and establish a minimum number of sick leave days needed to participate.

Requires unused transferred sick leave to be returned to the donating employee and establishes that the donor must retain a minimum number of sick leave days.

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
