Department of State shall establish and maintain a website list of persons owing money to the state, including the amount owed and nature of the debt.

State agencies, as defined in s. 216.011, Florida Statutes, must forward monthly lists of debtors to the Department of State.

Debt types covered include unpaid taxes, administrative fines, judgments, and settlements.

Department of State shall forward monthly lists to major state newspapers for publication of debtors who have remained on the list for more than 30 days, limited to each newspaper's primary coverage area.

Effective date is July 1, 2012.
