Creates credentialing requirements for interpreters and transliterators providing services under the Americans with Disabilities Act, Rehabilitation Act, and other federal and state disability laws.

Requires persons representing themselves as interpreters or transliterators to possess a credential issued by an approved credentialing entity, with temporary exemption for those holding valid credentials from other states for 2 years.

Establishes the Interpreters for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Advisory Board to recommend policies and procedures for issuing credentials consistent with standards endorsed by the Florida Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf and the National Association of the Deaf.

Prohibits use of public funds to employ uncredentialed interpreters or transliterators and authorizes the credentialing entity to seek injunctive relief against unlicensed practitioners.

Requires persons practicing as interpreters or transliterators to apply for credentials by July 1, 2012, and to hold valid credentials by July 1, 2014, with exemptions for emergency situations and students practicing under supervision.
