Creates s. 775.2155 to prohibit persons convicted of specific sex offenses (ss. 794.011, 800.04, 827.071, 847.0135(5), 847.0145) with victims younger than 12 years of age from permanently residing with unrelated children under age 12.

Defines "permanently reside" as dwelling in a place for 5 or more consecutive days and "unrelated child" as a child under 12 not related by blood within the third degree and not a stepchild.

Violations result in felony of the third degree if underlying conviction was first degree or higher, or misdemeanor of the first degree if underlying conviction was second or third degree.

Requires sexual predators and offenders to report the name and age of any child permanently residing with them to the sheriff's office, Department of Law Enforcement, or Department of Corrections.

Applies to offenses occurring on or after October 1, 2012, for persons required to register as sexual offenders or sexual predators on or after that date; effective October 1, 2012.
