Adds aquariums to the list of facilities that counties may use tourist development tax revenues to acquire, construct, maintain, operate, or promote, alongside convention centers, sports stadiums, arenas, coliseums, auditoriums, and museums.

Specifies that aquariums must be either publicly owned and operated or owned and operated by not-for-profit organizations and open to the public to qualify for funding.

Includes aquariums in provisions governing automatic expiration of the tourist development tax upon retirement of bonds or expiration of operation agreements for such facilities.

Effective July 1, 2012.
