Authorizes courts to order offenders convicted of child abuse crimes to pay an additional $100 assessment if they do not receive a state prison sentence.

Applies to offenders who violate any criminal provision of chapter 827 (Florida's child abuse statutes).

Requires the $100 assessment be allocated to the child protection team in the judicial circuit where the alternative sentence is imposed.

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
