Amends definitions in Florida pari-mutuel wagering statutes to add detailed specifications for greyhound racing, horserace racing, quarter horse racing, and thoroughbred racing, and clarifies definitions for jai alai, harness racing, and other wagering terms.

Repeals section 550.0745 regarding conversion of pari-mutuel permits to summer jai alai permits.

Eliminates provisions allowing relocation of converted limited thoroughbred permits to other locations in the same county, restricting racing to only the original permit location.

Redefines "eligible facility" for slot machine gaming to require approval by county referendum and restricts slot machine licenses to facilities that conducted live racing for 2 consecutive calendar years prior to application; prohibits transfer of slot machine licenses.

Permits the Division of Pari-mutuel Wagering to approve slot machine gaming applications for facilities in counties operating under home rule charters, in addition to counties with voter-approved referendums; effective July 1, 2012.
