• Florida Virtual School full-time students meeting academic and conduct requirements may participate in interscholastic extracurricular activities at their assigned or chosen public school.

• Makes it unlawful for any person to knowingly take an online course or examination on behalf of another person, punishable as a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Expands Florida Virtual School to offer both full-time and part-time instruction to kindergarten through grade 12 students and requires statewide assessments be taken at the student's assigned school.

• Requires virtual instruction programs to provide courses in accessible formats for students with disabilities tailored to their individual education plans and adds annual financial audit requirements for program providers.

• Prohibits school districts from requiring students to take mandatory online courses outside the school day or in addition to their regular semester courses, with exceptions for students with individual education plans or those in their final academic year.
