Creates an expedited partner therapy pilot project in Duval and Gadsden Counties to address high rates of sexually transmitted infections, with an estimated annual cost of $70,000 and projected reach of approximately 4,000 persons and their partners.

Exempts providers in the pilot counties from specified statutory requirements (ss. 384.27 and 465.023(1)(h), Florida Statutes, and Rule 64B8-9.014, Florida Administrative Code) to allow physicians to provide single-dose medication to infected patients for use by their partners.

Requires the Department of Health to provide physician training on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for expedited partner therapy and adapt patient education materials from the state of Texas.

Authorizes pilot project funding through existing county health department budgets or partnerships, with funds used for medication, educational materials, and program evaluation.

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
