Proposes amendment to Section 3 of Article I of the Florida State Constitution to align with the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution regarding religious freedom.

Changes constitutional language from "There shall be no law" to "The legislature shall make no law" respecting establishment of religion or prohibiting free exercise thereof.

Removes language prohibiting practices inconsistent with public morals, peace or safety, and eliminates restrictions on state revenue being used to aid churches, sects, religious denominations, or sectarian institutions.

Adds provision preventing denial of governmental benefits, funding, or other support to individuals or entities based on religious identity or belief, except as required by the First Amendment.

Amendment requires voter approval at the next general election or earlier special election authorized by law.
