Amends the definition of "employee organization" in Florida law to exclude professional teacher associations from coverage unless they apply for registration under specified provisions.

A "professional teacher association" as defined in Florida Statute 1001.03(4) must separately apply for registration pursuant to Florida Statute 447.305 to be recognized as an employee organization.

Makes grammatical change replacing "which" with "that" in the definition of employee organization.

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
