Senate Resolution expressing sympathy for the death of Clay County Sheriff Deputy David Adam White, who was fatally shot during a drug raid on February 16, 2012.

Deputy White was born November 11, 1976, graduated from Middleburg High School in 1995, and earned a criminal justice degree from University of Central Florida in 2001.

Served in U.S. Army Reserves as military police officer from 1997-1998 in Bosnia and again from 2003-2004 in Iraq and Kuwait, receiving War on Terrorism Service Medal and Sharpshooter badge.

Joined Clay County Sheriff's Office in 2001 and was named Deputy of the Month in August 2011 for investigating an Orange Park pain-management clinic that resulted in arrests and seizure of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Senate directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to Deputy White's wife Jennifer and expresses condolences to his family and colleagues.
