Establishes the Florida Law Enforcement Officers' Hall of Fame to recognize and honor law enforcement officers who have dedicated or sacrificed their lives for Florida citizens' safety and made significant state contributions.

Department of Law Enforcement administers the Hall of Fame without state appropriation of funds, with the Department of Management Services providing a designated area on the Plaza Level of the Capitol Building's northeast front wall for plaques bearing inductees' names.

Department of Law Enforcement annually accepts recommendations from law enforcement organizations, including the Police Benevolent Association, and selects nominees to transmit to the Governor and Cabinet for final selection.

Department of Law Enforcement shall give preference to law enforcement officers who were born in Florida or adopted Florida as their home state when making recommendations to the Governor and Cabinet.

Department of Law Enforcement may establish criteria, set time periods for recommendations and selection processes, and organize a formal induction ceremony; effective date is July 1, 2013.
