Exempts fundraising activities operated by high school booster clubs from food sanitation standards and food service regulations under section 381.0072, provided the activities involve preparation and sale of food cooked on site at public school buildings or adjoining grounds.

Exempts fundraising activities operated by city-sanctioned or county-sanctioned organized youth sports programs from food sanitation standards and food service regulations when conducted on city or county property.

Amends section 509.232 to clarify that school carnivals and fairs lasting 3 days or less require notification to the local county health department but are exempt from certain temporary food service regulations regarding hot and cold running water, flooring, walls, and counter service.

Exempts the same fundraising activities (high school booster club and organized youth sports program fundraisers) from uniform firesafety standards under sections 633.022 and 1013.12.

Takes effect July 1, 2013.
