Eliminates authority for counties and municipalities to install and use traffic infraction detectors (red light cameras) to enforce traffic signal violations, effective upon passage.

Repeals sections 316.0083, 316.00831, 316.07456, 316.0776, and 321.50 of Florida Statutes that authorized and regulated the use of automated traffic enforcement cameras.

Removes requirements that traffic citations issued by detectors include photographs showing the license plate and traffic control device being violated.

Amends penalty and fine distribution statutes to remove provisions related to traffic infraction detector enforcement, including the $158 fine structure and revenue allocation to counties and municipalities.

Eliminates driver license points for violations detected by traffic infraction enforcement officers and prohibits using such violations to set motor vehicle insurance rates.
