Agency for Health Care Administration must contract with a not-for-profit organization jointly formed by a lead agency and licensed hospice provider to deliver PACE services in Duval, St. Johns, Baker, and Nassau Counties, with up to 300 initial enrollees.

Agency must contract with a not-for-profit hospice provider with more than 30 years' experience to provide PACE services in Alachua and Clay Counties, with up to 300 initial enrollees.

Agency may contract with a not-for-profit hospice provider with more than 25 years' experience to provide PACE services in Hernando and Pasco Counties, with up to 150 initial enrollees.

All specified PACE organizations are exempt from Chapter 641 requirements, subject to federal approval and appropriation of funds.

Agency cannot issue additional PACE contracts until the statewide managed long-term care program is reprocured or October 1, 2018, whichever occurs first; PACE projects approved after July 1, 2013 must comply with rate-setting and encounter data submission requirements.
