CS/CS/HB 137 Summary

• Deletes an obsolete reference in section 601.152 regarding special marketing orders by removing the reference to the Lakeland office location.

• Reverts references to the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services back to the Department of Citrus in sections 601.9918 and 601.992, reversing changes made by chapter 2012-182, Laws of Florida.

• Restores Department of Citrus rules 20-109.005, 20-112.003, and 20-7.001 through 20-7.005 that were in effect on July 1, 2012, with retroactive application to that date.

• Repeals any rules adopted by the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services between July 1, 2012, and the effective date of this act that implemented sections 601.9918 or 601.992.

• Takes effect upon becoming law.
