Authorizes the Agency for Persons with Disabilities to pay $950,000 to J.D.S. as settlement compensation for negligence resulting in her rape and impregnation while residing at the Strong Group Home in Orange County in December 2002

Total settlement amount is $1,150,000, with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities paying $200,000 under state liability limits and this bill covering the remaining $950,000

Directs payment to be made to the AGED Pooled Special Needs Trust, administered by AGED, Inc., a nonprofit trust company that will manage the funds for J.D.S.

Limits attorney fees, lobbying fees, costs, and similar expenses to no more than 25 percent of the $950,000 award

Takes effect upon becoming law, with the settlement to serve as sole compensation for all present and future claims arising from the incident
