Exempts single-family residential dock lessees (designed to moor up to 2 boats) from lease fees for preempted areas equal to or less than 10 times the riparian shoreline or the authorized square footage under Board of Trustees rules, whichever is greater.

Exempts shared single-family residential docks (designed to moor up to 4 boats, located between two residences) from lease fees using the same 10 times riparian shoreline calculation or authorized square footage standard.

Exempts multifamily residential dock lessees from lease fees for preempted areas equal to or less than 10 times the riparian shoreline multiplied by the number of units in the development.

Takes effect July 1, 2013.
