Authorizes physical therapists to implement treatment plans of specified duration developed by themselves or provided by a practitioner of record or advanced registered nurse practitioner licensed under s. 464.012

Requires physical therapists to refer patients to or consult with a health care practitioner if the patient's condition is found to be outside the scope of physical therapy

Requires physical therapists to obtain a practitioner of record to review and sign treatment plans when physical therapy treatment extends beyond 21 days for conditions not previously assessed by a practitioner of record

Prohibits physical therapists from practicing chiropractic medicine including specific spinal manipulation, and requires referral to a licensed chiropractor for such procedures

Prohibits physical therapists from implementing treatment plans for patients currently being treated in facilities licensed under chapter 395
