Motor vehicle registration and renewal application forms must include an option for voluntary contributions of $1 or more to Auto Club Group Traffic Safety Foundation, Inc., with funds used for traffic safety outreach, education, and crash prevention activities.

Driver license and identification card application forms must include options for voluntary contributions to 17 different charitable organizations and causes, including organ donation education, services for the blind, heart disease research, autism services, veteran support, and the Auto Club Group Traffic Safety Foundation.

Contributions under $2 per applicant with most contributions set at $1, with the Hearing Research Institute at $2 and Auto Club Group Traffic Safety Foundation at $1 or more.

All voluntary contributions are excluded from state revenue calculations for service charge purposes under Florida Statutes section 215.20.

The act takes effect July 1, 2013.
