Authorizes judges to electronically sign arrest warrants if the complaint bears the affiant's signature, is supported by oath or affirmation, and if submitted electronically, uses reliable electronic means.

Establishes that an arrest warrant is issued at the time a judge affixes their signature or electronic signature to the warrant.

Authorizes judges to electronically sign search warrants under the same conditions as arrest warrants, with warrants deemed issued when the judge affixes their signature or electronic signature.

Defines "electronic signature" to have the same meaning as provided in Florida Statutes section 933.40.

Takes effect July 1, 2013.
