• Renames the "Florida Teachers Lead Program" to the "Florida Teachers Classroom Supply Assistance Program" and allows local contributions to supplement state funding.

• Requires debit cards used to distribute funds to classroom teachers display an identifier on the front indicating the card was issued for the Florida Teachers Classroom Supply Assistance Program.

• Authorizes the Department of Education and school districts to enter into public-private partnerships to increase total available funds for the program.

• Deletes obsolete provisions regarding a 2009-2010 pilot program for centralized electronic management of the program.

• Takes effect July 1, 2013.
