Requires licensed child care facilities to serve only 1 percent milk or nonfat milk to children ages 2 and older, unless a physician or health practitioner orders otherwise.

Limits 100 percent fruit juice to no more than one serving per day at child care facilities.

Prohibits serving beverages with added sweeteners, whether natural or artificial, at licensed child care facilities.

Mandates that clean and safe drinking water be readily available and accessible throughout the day at child care facilities.

Takes effect July 1, 2013.
