FL H1311

Exempts the identity of donors and prospective donors to the Office of Supplier Diversity's direct-support organization from public records disclosure if they desire to remain anonymous and their contribution is received anonymously.

Requires that donor anonymity be maintained in the auditor's report.

Makes the exemption subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and automatically repeals it on October 2, 2018, unless the Legislature reenacts it.

Establishes that protecting anonymous donor identities is a public necessity to encourage private fundraising and prevent chilling effects on donations due to concerns about identity theft and personal safety.

Takes effect contingent upon HB 1309 or similar legislation becoming law in the same legislative session.
