Over 25,000 citizens have signed a petition calling for the federal government to use all diplomatic resources to secure his release and return him to his family in Coral Springs, Florida.

Levinson's health has deteriorated in captivity due to his diabetic condition and lack of access to proper medication, threatening his ability to survive.

Florida Legislature petitions Congress and the President to utilize all available resources to bring Levinson home, with copies to be sent to the President, Senate President, House Speaker, and Florida congressional delegation.
