Repeals section 776.013, Florida Statutes, which provided a presumption of fear and a "stand your ground" right in home protection scenarios.

Amends section 776.012 to establish that a person is justified in using deadly force and has no duty to retreat if they reasonably believe force is necessary to prevent imminent death, great bodily harm, or the commission of a forcible felony.

Modifies section 776.032 to remove reference to repealed section 776.013 while maintaining immunity from criminal prosecution and civil action for justified use of force, with exceptions for law enforcement officers acting in official capacity.

Amends section 790.15 regarding firearm discharge by removing the specific reference to section 776.013's definition of "dwelling" and replacing it with a new statutory definition of dwelling as any building or conveyance with a roof designed for human occupancy.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
