Exempts personal identifying information of applicants for or participants in school food and nutrition service programs from public records disclosure requirements under Florida Statutes section 119.07(1) and Florida Constitution Article I, Section 24(a).

Permits disclosure of such information only to other governmental entities performing official duties, or to any person with written consent from the applicant or participant.

Allows a participant's legal guardian to obtain confirmation of acceptance, approval, dates of applicability, and other requested information without requiring written consent.

Applies to information held by the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Department of Children and Families, or Department of Education, regardless of when the information was created or obtained.

Subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and shall automatically repeal on October 2, 2018, unless the Legislature reenacts it; effective date contingent on HB 7087 or similar legislation becoming law.
