Amends section 292.055, Florida Statutes, to clarify the confidentiality exemption for donors and prospective donors to the direct-support organization for the Department of Veterans' Affairs.

Specifies that the public meeting exemption applies only to those portions of meetings during which the identity of a donor or prospective donor whose identity is confidential and exempt is discussed.

Removes superfluous language regarding information identifying donors while retaining the core confidentiality protection.

Removes the scheduled repeal date of October 2, 2013, making the exemption permanent instead of subject to sunset review under the Open Government Sunset Review Act.

Takes effect October 1, 2013.
