Designates April 4, 2013, as "Guardian ad Litem Day" in the State of Florida.

Recognizes more than 9,000 guardian ad litem volunteers who represent the best interests of abused and neglected children in dependency court proceedings.

Acknowledges that children with volunteer guardians ad litem receive more services and are half as likely to return to foster care.

Congratulates the Florida Statewide Guardian ad Litem Program for receiving the 2012 Prudential-Davis Productivity Eagle Award and the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute's Angels in Adoption Award.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to Alan Abramowitz, executive director of the Florida Statewide Guardian ad Litem Program.
