Designates April 4, 2013, as "Gator Day" in the State of Florida to recognize the University of Florida.

University of Florida is one of only six universities nationally with colleges of law, medicine, engineering, veterinary medicine, and agriculture on one central campus.

University achieves 65 percent four-year graduation rate, 84 percent six-year graduation rate, and 96 percent freshman retention rate—the highest among Florida state universities.

University ranks 10th nationally in U.S. patents issued and 8th in startup companies created; student athletics program has achieved 29 national team championships, 205 SEC titles, and over 249 individual national titles in past 29 years.
