Designates April 15-20, 2013, as "Haitian American Nurses Awareness Week" in Florida.

Recognizes the Haitian American Nurses Association of Florida, Inc., founded in 1984 by Alice Casimir and Jacqueline Dasque to provide health care services to migrant workers in the Homestead area.

Acknowledges the association's efforts to increase enrollment of Haitian students in nursing schools through scholarships, mentoring, and community networking in both Florida and Haiti.

Highlights the organization's community health initiatives including health fairs, media education, youth interventions, emergency response services, and immunization drives conducted in 2012.

Recognizes partnerships between the association and numerous organizations including Miami Dade College, Miami-Dade County Health Department, Florida Heart Research Institute, Florida Nurses Association, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, and the American Diabetes Association.
