Designates June 10, 2013, as "UCF Day" in the State of Florida to recognize the University of Central Florida's 50th anniversary of founding.

Recognizes UCF as the nation's second largest university with nearly 60,000 students, of which 40 percent are minorities, and more than 210,000 alumni residing primarily in Florida.

Acknowledges UCF's administrative efficiency, spending nearly 40 percent less on administrative costs than the State University System average and earning "best value" university ratings from Princeton Review and Kiplinger Magazine.

Notes UCF's contributions including the DirectConnect program for affordable higher education, more than 200,000 annual community service hours, doubled STEM degree awards in the past decade, and the Modeling, Simulation, and Training industry anchored in Central Florida.

Recognizes UCF's College of Medicine's role in attracting life sciences centers and research institutions to Medical City in Lake Nona, projected to create more than 30,000 jobs beginning in 2017.
