Authorizes the Pasco County School Board to appropriate and pay $675,000 to Marcus Button to compensate him for injuries sustained from a September 22, 2006 school bus accident caused by school bus driver negligence.

The $675,000 payment represents the remaining portion of a jury award of $875,000 after the school board paid the statutory limit of $200,000 under Florida law.

A jury found the Pasco County School Board 65 percent responsible for the accident that caused Marcus Button facial fractures, brain damage, vision loss, and permanent disabilities requiring lifetime care.

Limits attorney fees, lobbying fees, and related costs to no more than 25 percent of the $675,000 appropriation.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
