Urges Congress to repeal all federal income taxes and enact a national retail sales tax as specified in H.R. 25, the Fair Tax Act of 2011

Proposes elimination of personal income tax, alternative minimum tax, inheritance tax, gift tax, capital gains tax, corporate income tax, self-employment tax, and employee and employer payroll taxes

Argues that the current income tax system retards economic growth, penalizes marriage, imposes excessive compliance costs, and unnecessarily intrudes on privacy and civil rights

Contends that a broad-based national sales tax would promote savings, investment, economic growth, fairness, and upward social mobility

Recommends that Congress consider implementing the national sales tax at the state level with federal-state coordination and reasonable administration fees to states
