Requires that each mammography report provided to a patient include information about breast density based on the Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System established by the American College of Radiology.

Mandates that mammography reports include a specific notice informing patients that dense breast tissue may hide abnormalities and that supplementary screening tests (breast ultrasound, breast MRI, or both) may be beneficial depending on individual risk factors.

Applies the breast density reporting requirement to all accident or health insurance policies, group/blanket/franchise policies, and health maintenance contracts in Florida.

Takes effect October 1, 2013.
