Establishes tuition exemption for students who complete an initial semester course in Mandarin or Portuguese at a state university with a grade of "B" or higher.

Exemption applies to each additional course in the same language in which the student enrolls at a state university.

Short title designated as the "Student Global Economic Education Act."

Provision automatically repeals July 1, 2018, unless the Legislature reviews and reenacts it before that date.

Effective date is July 1, 2013.
