Notable designations include Larcenia Bullard Way in Miami-Dade County, KMI Kentucky Military Institute Bridge in Sarasota County, Governor Mixson Highway in Jackson County, and multiple memorials to military personnel and community leaders.

Permits the Department of Transportation to allow a private entity to erect a memorial marker at the Sunshine Skyway Bridge wayside park for those who died in the May 9, 1980 MV Summit Venture collision, subject to departmental approval and with the private entity responsible for all costs and required security bond.

Julia Munroe Woodward Highway in Gadsden County is designated upon completion of S.R. 269 construction between U.S. 90/S.R. 10 and S.R. 12.
