Requires school districts to provide CPR training to all high school students at least once before graduation as part of physical education or other designated curriculum.

CPR training must be based on instructional programs from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or other nationally recognized organizations using current evidence-based emergency cardiovascular care guidelines.

Students must study and practice the psychomotor skills (hands-on practice) associated with performing CPR before graduating from high school.

Exempts students with disabilities as defined in section 1007.02 from the CPR training requirement.

Encourages school districts to provide basic first aid and CPR training to students beginning in grade 6 and every 2 years thereafter, with support from private and public partnerships.
