Requires annual reporting by schools on student participation in fine arts courses (visual arts, music, dance, and theatre), educator certification status, and compliance with fine arts standards in the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards.

Mandates inclusion of fine arts course participation rates in school grades beginning with the 2013-2014 school year for schools with any grades kindergarten through 12.

Updates terminology in school grading provisions to clarify language regarding students designated as "hospital/homebound" rather than "hospital-designated" or "hospital- or homebound."

Modifies language regarding alternative school data inclusion in home school grades, changing from "shall not" to "may not" be included in home school calculations if the alternative school chooses to be graded separately.

Takes effect July 1, 2013.
