Authorizes Florida College System institution police officers to enforce traffic laws and make arrests on or within 1,000 feet of college property and facilities, matching authority previously granted to state university police officers.

Permits Florida College System institution police officers to enforce laws within specified jurisdictional areas established through mutual aid agreements with other law enforcement agencies under section 23.1225.

Allows Florida College System institution police officers to enforce traffic laws and make arrests off-campus when in hot pursuit originating from college property or within 1,000 feet of college facilities.

Establishes that Florida College System institution police officers may serve as conservators of the peace with arrest authority for violations of state law or county or municipal ordinances occurring within their jurisdictional authority.
